Using the YardsTech® Scales with AgriWebb

Connecting the YardsTech® Scales to the AgriWebb app:

To connect via WiFi the YardsTech® Scales and the mobile device running the AgriWebb app MUST be on the same WiFi network. This can either be the YardsTech® Scales' WiFi hotspot (by default), or some other WiFi network.

 

Setup steps:

  1. Turn on the YardsTech® Scales.
  2. Connect your mobile device to the YardsTech WiFi network. Note that there is no password required to connect to this network.
  3. Open the AgriWebb app.
  4. Select the Menu icon on the bottom right of the main screen, then select Hardware Connections.
  5. The YardsTech®  Scales may just appear in the Disconnected Devices list. If it does, simply press the Connect button and you are done. If it doesn't appear continue to the next step.
  6. Select the Connect New Device button at the bottom of the screen.
  7. Select YardsTech from the list of devices.
  8. Enter the IP address as 192.168.4.1 and press the Save button and you are done. Note that the IP address listed here assumes the device is setup as per the factory default.


Handy Tip:

Have the YardsTech® App running on another device (eg your phone) and use the Display Weight function to see the current scale weight, as well as allow access to the Zero and Re-weigh functions.
